  • Induction friendly Pancake/French Toast.

I've tried this and it is aaaaaaaamaaaaaaaaaazzzzzzzzzzing! I've used this before and it helps! Trust me on this one!

Take 32 oz (4 cups) of egg whites and whip them into a good puffy Foam in the Kitchen Aid/mixer, its real cool when they start to foam up, took about 2 min on full power and i got a big pile of foamy egg whites aswome.
I then poured the foam batter into a huge tin, and baked in the oven 10 min on 500 degrees till top was browning. I then took it out of the oven when it looked ready and, poured walden farms maple syrup.

Total Calories-440 for the egg whites, and estimate + or - 20 more for the walden farms syrup altho it is "0 calories"

    Total Carbs-1g or less
    Total Protein-100g

*Add splenda or Stevia in the eggs if you wish, or just use the SF Walden Maple Syrups!

Here is the link, for pictures!!

*You don't have to use 32 oz, you can do 2 cups to make a single serving, just be sure to beat them enough!

add some butter to melt under that syrup and that would be a great dish for doing Atkins to serve the family

yep any of those will do we just don';t want to fill up on just proteins as they are converted to sugars in the body too when we have more then we need.

Ok, this is like, really cool. I made it today with 3 leftover egg whites (I am making Stella's New York Style Ricotta Cheesecake).

I could totally use this as bread--if you don't use any sweeteners.
I put cream cheese and cherry DaVinci syrup (that's what I had available).

            Very simple to make.

For those on the nut rung--make this and use it as "bread" to make peanut butter and jelly (sugar free of course).

I bet a little grape DaVinci mixed in the peanut butter would work too.

this can be induction bread too and hold your tuna or chicken salad if you roll it like a cone. or your sliced meat too. might be albe to roll it up too.

2big, absolutely. I cooked mine (3 egg whites) in a 8x8 pan. It pulls away from the sides, so by the time it was done, it was bigger than a slice of white bread, but smaller than 8x8. I'd almost say it was 6x6 inches. Anyway, you could make several on a cookie sheet because the egg whites are whipped and stiff, so you have to spread them in the pan anyway. You could make them round or square or whatever you want.

And, just being egg whites, it really doesn't have a lot of flavor. The flavor would come from whatever you put on it/in it.

                      OHHHHHHH MYYYY GOD,

Ok, you ladies have dfone it now.....I HAVE TO TRY THIS ONE

I just have one problem. From what I saw, I cannot have the sf syrups on induction....ok, I can live with that. BUT, I have looked in 2 towns and cannot find ANY sf syrup with less than 12 carbs in 2T. Where must I go????? I live in the boonies.... One town an hour away has a store with some Atkins products, but not many. I refuse to buy the bars, I about vomited when I tried them and I had an upset stomach for 3 days. I tried them 3 times and always the same. Anyway...the syrups, any info?

you can order DaVinci gourmet syrups online at www.davincigourmet.com

I've heard that netrition.com is good too for stuff like that.

Keep in mind the sf syrups, are a liquid form, not gooey...they are watery.

MMMMMM thanks VR, I actually love thin syrups better!! I have never really eaten any syrups other than maple a couple of times a year because I don't like sticky thick. I am going to think about this one until I can get some syrup and try it...drool...

Walmart carries Sugar Free DaVinci's syrup in Vanilla and Hazelnut flavors. They are with the coffee.

I always recommend the chocolate syrup...it's delish.
