OMgoodness, lets see. I use my gas stove/oven with my cast iron alot and some with my non stick cookware, I use my 3 slow cookers alot, I use my George Foreman, my outdoor gas grill and my charcoal smoker, sometimes I use my toaster oven, my bread maker and my rice steamer, for hard boiled eggs I use my Smart Egg. I have lots of gadgets, and I use them all!

Yep, microwaved broccoli comes out steammed. Just put the broccoli in a microwave safe container, add a tablespoon or two of water, cover with plastic wrap loosely and zap for 2-5 minutes. It comes out steammed.

I cook whole artichokes in the microwave too. It cuts the cooking time down to about 10 minutes as opposed to 30-40 minutes on the stove.

I use primarily 2 pans on the stove top for 80% of all meals (they so need to be replaced too). The rest are either in the deep fat fryer, george foreman, and of course oven. I used cook almost everything in my American Harvest Jetstream Oven, but after the third cooking head going out, I finally had to give it up. I am really tempted for the new Flavorwave Oven to fulfill the old Jetstream role, but haven't got the nerve yet to buy it.

HAHA omg, i thought my mom bought some wacky cooking gadget online called FLAVO WAVE oven from t.v. She bought two of them. When i came home I tried it out with a frozen pork chop. It came out alright, but i have to say cleaning it was aweful. All the flood and juices drip off into the bottom and crust up. Pretty nasty smelling might i add and looking. Nothing like a pool of bubbling blood under your meat. Also the glass top gets really really hot and it takes up a huge amount of space on the kitcken top. I have to say the best cooking mechanism we have ever purchased was the hot pot and the ROTISTERY thingy by RONCO. Oh yea the dehydrated was junk though.

I use the hot plates with my trusty frying pan, plus an open griddle thing for steak and chicken. Some meats (eg breakfast bacon) I do under the griller, and occassionally we have roast beef or chicken in the oven. Microwave is used for steamed veges (but mostly I stir fry 'em).

I use a fish steamer in the microwave for the veggies - it is a covered dish with an internal layer with holes. Water in bottom, veggies (or fish) on holey tray, lid on and voila

The only gadget that I still want but don't have is a rotisserie - I've used one before, it makes the best cornish hen, chicken and even standing rib roast! I love the way the skin gets nice and crispy on all sides and the meat still stays juicy! Darn, now I've gone and made myself hungry.
