    someone give me the recipe for this yest and i have made it and it tastes oily :S anyone have any ideas on what to do lol?? i want mayo lol


    First Mini Goal: Loose 10lbs = 11st12lbs
    Second Mini Goal: Loose 12lbs = 11st0lbs
    Third Mini Goal: Loose 10lbs = 10st 4lbs
    Fourth Mini Goal: Loose 10lbs = 9st 8lbs

    You probably broke the emulsion by adding too much oil or by not whisking quick enough. I think you can save it if you whisk another egg yolk and then add the "oily mayo" SLOWLY to it.

      i just done it and its still the same should i throw it. its such a waste??? im not sure what sauces to use now i was hoping to have that

          You might have used too much oil. It's about a 1:1 ratio for egg yolks to oil. So if you use 1 egg yolk, you should use 1 cup (240 ml) of oil. And you might not have to add that entire amount.

            when your adding the oil to the egg, add it very slowly while whisking,., start out with a few drops at a time, then slowly add more and more... when you create an emulsion, then you can add more oil at a time hope that helps

              My advice would be to use a blender or food processor. I just made some mayo for the first time the other day in the blender and it turned out yummy. Just make sure that you add the oil very slowly, like everyone else has said.
