  • CHICKEN TARRAGON RECIPE

    Below is a recipe I modified slightly from the original. I left the cresent rolls shell off and I love to eat the chicken filling warmed up. It makes for a really fast make ahead meal.

    [b]Chicken Tarragon[/b]

    3 lb. Chicken Breast, boneless & skinless
    16 oz. Cream Cheese, 1/3 less fat
    2 T. Tarragon
    1/4 t. garlic powder
    1/8 t. pepper

    Boil chicken until done. Cut chicken up into bit size pieces. Add remainder of ingredients to chicken. Mix up. (I usually heat the cream cheese up in the microwave to make it easier to stir.) Heat up portion in microwave and enjoy.

    If you want to serve to someone not on Atkins just add cresent roll shell around chicken filling (put filling in middle of cresent roll and bring up points to middle and seal all edges). Bake in 350 oven for 10-15 min. or until shell is golden brown.
