ok its been adressed that taco bells meat has sugar. but what about their steak? i just started this atkins thing 4 days ago. and i ordered a couple Taco Salads, no beans, no meat, no salsa, no shell, PLUS steak. so basically its just lettus and steak (for the mostp part) . would this still be 31 grams of carbs? i wouldnt think so....
i worked at a taco bell for a year, their ground beef came in ice cold bags,. the bags would then be dipped in HOT water, untill the bags of meat were cooked, then they poor all the ground beef crap into a pan.
the STEAK would come frozen, in a box, and the same process was applied. the only difference? the STEAK had a stamp on the box: "Beef check approved, 100% beef"
The ground taco meat didnt have this stamp, and i would never.. ever.. EVER trust it. anyone have input on this ?
