    Roasted Kale!

Tear the kale up and place on a cookie sheet in a single layer

Either spray or drizzle olive oil over the kale

Place in a preheated 350 degree oven, when it starts to brown flip the pieces over (it doesn’t take long, I just peek in on it every couple of minutes)

Once its nice and browned and crispy take it out and sprinkle it with the seasoning of your choice and enjoy a nice crisp salty snack that helps cure popcorn/potato chip cravings! (I sprinkle mine with Old Bay seasoning)

First of all, great idea! I love seeing good recipes for veggies I hardly ever use.

A couple of questions though - how small are you tearing up the kale? And are you using the stems/stemmy part of the leaf or just the green leafy part?

I tried this, but I think I left the pieces too big. They never really browned well and still had a little of the bitter kale aftertaste when I ate them.

(I know you posted pictures but they've dissapeared!)

This was pretty good. I cooked them for 10 minutes on each side and broke them into smaller pieces (about 1"x3"). They shrink as they cook.

I also put some sesame oil on top of them and Trader Joe's 21 seasoning salute. Over all I was pleasantly surprised.
