      Okay, I haven't posted since Friday. So, here's the update.

      Thursday: 5 miles (1 hour, 45 minutes)
      Friday: 2 miles (30 minutes)
      Saturday: 5 miles (1 hour 45 minutes)
      Sunday: 8 miles (2 4-mile walks - 1 hour each)

          10/270 ... still need to make up for last night, so I will end up doing 20 one day.

          Also... do elliptical machines count? Because I also do time on that baby in addition to the treadmill. :P

              Monday was 5.5 miles of walking (1.75 hours).

              Tuesday was 4.75 miles of walking (about 1 hour 20 minutes).

                By the way, I'm taking it easy today (probably about 1.5 miles) since I have errands to do at lunch and a boatload of house cleaning to do tonight! My treadmill is being returned to me (it was broken), so I will be a legitimate treadmill trekker soon!!

                  I went for 18 minutes last night
                  (as opposed to my usual 10). Exhausting but totally satisfying.

                  Is walking really better than running for weight loss? I never know what to do exactly, so I just switch it up/down every few minutes...

                            I'm going to join in finally!

                            I do 24 mins 3x a week on my treadmill with a varied hill program. By my calculations, that's 312 minutes for June.

                            On Sunday, I actually did 30 mins!

                            So that's 102/312 done so far.
                            Start date: 2/22/04 347/222/135 ~ 5'2"
                            STAC Restart: 1/05/09
                            306/229/135 ~ 5'2" 77 lbs down!

                            Goal #1: 247 - 2nd 10% (59lbs, 247, also 100 lbs total loss) - Met 1/4/10!!!
                            Goal #2: 241 - Halfway to goal! (106 lbs lost) - Met 2/21/10!!!

                            Goal #3: 222 - 3rd 10% - Lowest Atkins weight
                            Goal #4: 210 - Still on track!
                            Goal #5: 200/199 - 4th 10% - One-derland! End year goal!
                            Female/Hypothyroidism/Arthritis/Fibromyalgia - If I can lose weight on this, so can you!

                                Can I please join the Treadmill Treckies group for the remainder of June? Just got a treadmill from an auction...haven't figured out how all the buttons, readouts work, but I timed myself this a.m. and I went 30 mins....worked up a good sweat and feel pretty good. I have been sedentary for several years due to two total knee replacements and spine fusions....in relatively good health, but have a ton to lose and need to get some good exercise...if I can join this group, it will be great....I'll post my challenge and would love to get the treadmill guy on my siggy....help!!! Syb
