      Re: #6 Weekly Pedometer Challenge

I lost my good pedometer so I'm using a cheapo right now until my new one gets here. The numbers seem a little off - not sure if it is counting all my steps.

      Monday - 8,794
      Tuesday - 9,145

i didn't think mine was so cheap but perhaps it is in the grand scheme of things.
i don't have that particular adjust on mine, sal, at least not that i have found.
i'll continue to just keep walking to get the steps in this week but i think next week i will have to adjust down.

Well, we went out for dinner last weekend and took DH's car (which is not comfortable to me so we rarely do) and I noticed that my pedometer was racking up the steps! His car is so bumpy, that's why! I was watching it. So whatever day that was I deducted 1,000 steps due to the car.

Silly... mine does that too on bumpy roads! No avoiding it... grrrrrr! I try to keep honest by adjusting down when it does that, and I think I have a little leeway as I don't really put the thing on until breakfast time, when I've already clocked up some "moving around the house, washing and dressing" steps.

Do you find that now that we've done a few weeks, you can guage within a pretty good margin, how many you do? Well... I think I can... sort of!!

Yeah Sally I can! I know fully well when my # is going to be on the low side! Can you believe we've been doing this for 6 weeks?

              THANKS CYNTHIA!

Today: 10,351 as of 5:00 pm so I'm taking it off, and no, I didn't drive in DH's car!
