Wow. You sure know a lot about this stuff 2big. Thanks.

your body will get more efficient at using what you got as it gets trained. We have several ways to generate power inside the body that don't use oxygen. Oxygen is the terminal step in the carb energy cycle and when you don't have enough the production line backs up so your body moves them to the lactic acid cycle which causes the burn in your mucles and you don't get as much energy produced per molecule started with. Fat burning just moves them to ketones and ships them to other not being used as vigorously muscles for fuel. (The exception to this is the heart which loves ketones as fuel even when it is working super hard.)
Your chest muscles will get stronger too as part of your training and you will be able to more forcefully expel the spent air which will get more out of there allowing more fresh stuff to enter. We don't always get all the old air out when we exhale and you can prove this to yourself by sitting here and taking a normal breath and exhale. now try to exhale more air. surprize there was still some in there wasn't there? so as your train you get better at getting more of that old used up air out and allowing more fresh oxyenated air to enter.
Contracting your thigh muscle in a few weeks will generate much more force then it does right now and you will not need so much fuel to do the same stuff too.
Also as muscle learn they have a certain required work load they store more fuels inside themselves to preform those actions with. This too will asssit your efforts. In a few weeks you will be amazed that you were posting about only going 51 min for the 5K walking I went from stuggling 2mph walking when I started out to over 7MPH on the inclines in less then a yr. I can now walk a 5K in close to 30 min.
Happy low carbing
