I'm in my seventh week of Atkins so far, and I've just FINALLY started to exercise. Yes I know, shame on me. But this was due to a combination of factors, primarily 1) fear of being "too fat for the gym" 2) a crazy and highly stressful work schedule.
So I finally got off my butt and checked out my apartment complex's fitness center, and much to my surprise it is really really really nice! It has a ton of cardio and weight machines (I love weightlifting). Con: mirrors. Tons and tons of mirrors.
For the past two days I've gone thru all of the weight machines and lifted for half an hour, half an hour of cardio and I'd like to do this 5 days a week. UNFORTUNATELY (sort of) the only time I have been able to fit this block into my schedule is 11 o'clock at night. I'm a night owl, and I can watch some good TV and the gym is almost guaranteed to be empty. I think once I get over my #1 fear I'll feel ok about going earlier.
Anyway, I am hoping to to maintain these pretty lofty goals, especially thru finals!
