I've been waiting for this thread, Betty.

Yesterday I did 11 miles in 1:58:20 (I was hoping to do the half marathon distance) but felt as if I couldnt go any further with 2 miles remaining. I will do it one day though.

I have since re-gained a bit of weight, but that is soon to be coming off again!

AWESOME, RICH!! Your mileage is very impressive and I know you'll be rockin' that halfer distance very soon! Just be careful not to increase too soon .. we don't want that injury to flare up again!

unfortunately both of my knees are aching today. I am putting that down to the fact that I am still quite heavy (185ish lbs) and running on the roads. Although I did run about 6 miles yesterday on cycle tracks.

Tuesday 4 miles, in 37:06 knocking 55 seconds of my best training time over that distance.

Woohoo, Rich! You are really building great speed!!!

Wednesday AM, up with the birds for a before-work run .. 6.3 miles done in an hour. Sure makes a big difference running when its a brisk 80 degrees at 6:30 a.m.!!

6.3 miles seems an odd distance, Betty. Any particular reason for it? I ask, as I tend to run full miles.

Yep, that's my regular route from my house up to one of the main streets in our area and back. Its a little more than a 5k in each direction. That's according to the odometer on DH's bike. I do that route two days a week, a run through our neighborhood on Thursday AM, and then my LSD run on Saturday, either on the trail or along Tampa Bay.

YA down to Rich and BETTY Sarah has not been feeling very well but, I am still exercising just not running and it's too freaken hot in the House and outside and everywhere NO way I am running on my TM in this blasted heat to give you an IDEA we rocked the temps out this weekend at 114 on saturday and 110 on sunday then 95 on Monday, tuesday 100 it's been humid as all **** if the TM goes on the temp of the house rises 2 degrees and I have NO AC. This is ALBERTA for cripes sakes what the heck is up with this Stupid Weather AHHHHHHHHH

Oh and I would go in the Evening but my hubby has been gone for 2 weeks I miss running but, I don't wanna kill us all in the heat of the house so I choose not to untill the weather cools off again. What I wouldn't give to be able to afford to ahve someone come over 3 times a week so I could run outside that would be awesome. So until the weather cools down at least a bit I am just doing my weights and such.
