  • What's a good calorie target range?

    For a 30 minute aerobic work out what would be a good burned calorie target?

    I'm actually just getting started on the whole exercising deal ^^ I'm usually an on-and-off exerciser but being at college my college has a recreational center with free use of the gym that's just as good as any 24 Hour Fitness centor ^.^

    So I'm wondering what I should be trying to achieve in a regular morning workout.

    So far I've heard 150 calories is efficient to get your body's metabolism revved up but that just seems so low
    I will lose weight, I will lose weight, I WILL LOSE WEIGHT!

    get your heart rate up to your target zonew for the whole 30 min would be better. Weight loss exercising is suggested by trainers and such at 45 min 30 is just for health and fitness.
