  • Cool Running for the week of September 30, 2007

Hi everyone! Back from the cruise as of yesterday. It was so great, I hated to see it end .. but you know what they say .. I OWE I OWE ... *and boy do I OWE*!!

I managed to run 21 miles during the cruise .. some on the dreadmill and some on the jogging track. Good thing too, cuz I ate like there was no tomorrow!

Monday, 10/1 (can you believe its October already?) 6.5 mile run this morning.

Rich, it won't be long until the mary!!! You'll burn it up out there, I just know it!

Glad you had a nice time Betty. Great that you managed to get 21 miles in!

This week I have done 6.5 miles so far. I have 6 half marathons coming up in the next 8 weeks. Its going to be fun! lol

It never ceases to amaze me of how easy and how effective this ***diet*** is!!

I have since re-gained a bit of weight, but that is soon to be coming off again!

Wow, Rich!! That's an awesome schedule! GOOD LUCK WITH IT!

I probably won't "race" until Thanksgiving's Turkey Trot. By then, hopefully it will be MUCH cooler.

Wednesday, 10/3: 6+ miles in this morning. Heat and humidity made a serious comeback this morning. It was dreadful.

Ideally somewhere beneath 2 hours 15. But I dont know what the terrain is like so I dont know.

Very very very happy with that. Not far off of my pb!

Just checked back over my records for the year. Just 5 seconds slower than my pb! My 2nd quickest half marathon ever. the 3rd time I have been in the 2 hours 4 minutes something. One day i WILL break the 2 hours!

I have put my entry in for the 2008 London Marathon. (along with 146,000 other people) so now I have to wait on the ballot to see if I am successfull. The London Marathon is the only full marathon I will ever enter. I have a maximum of 6 years to wait as the ruling is that if you fail in the ballot for 5 consecutive years, then you are guaranteed a spot in the 6th.
