  • Want the perfect walking/running music?

    I was complaining to my son that when I load my piddly little IPOD shuffle I never get a really good mix of tunes at my walking pace. Being a college student, he knew exactly where to go to get a free, safe online program to analyse the Beats Per Minute (BPMs) of all my music on iTunes. The program is called Mixmeister and you can download it for free. It has revolutionized my walking. I always have the right pace for me (I walk at about 4.2-4.3 mph or 126 BPMs with my long stride) I can also program a slightly faster playlist to up my pace, or a slower beat for weight training.

    This was so new and cool to me I thought I would pass it along! Jill
