  • Gazelle

I'd like to know what ya'll opinion is on the gazelle, I want a treadmill so badly, but I can't afford it, and I was just wondering if it would be worth it to buy the less expensive gazelle. Someone is selling one in the paper for $75.

    Thank you in advance.

What is a gazelle? Is it an eliptical trainer?

It never ceases to amaze me of how easy and how effective this ***diet*** is!!

I have since re-gained a bit of weight, but that is soon to be coming off again!

yeah I think it is similar to an elliptical except you don't have to bend your knees.... http://www.tonylittle.com/SearchResu...?CategoryID=31

yep it looks like an eliptical trainer to me too.

Going back to your original question I think its very much worth you buying one. They are an excellent form of excercise, and in a way are better for you than a treadmill as there is no danger of any damage to your knee joints.

Rich is right, its low impact so there won't be strain like there would be on a treadmill. If you think you'll use it go ahead and pick it up, the machine is only good if you get on it and use it right? Personally i've heard mixed reviews on the Gazelle, some people love it, and some expect too much out of it. Definitely better than sitting there doing nothing I say go for it.

Just to throw a cog in the works, I ordered one fo those, got on it once and then gave it to my aunt. I couldn't do half the things he advertised that it could do. There was either to much resistance or too little and I felt the thing was going to fall apart. I paid £150 for that thing and I sorely regret it.

I've noticed that alot of people seem to like it since I've been on this forum, so maybe you shouldn't listen to me

It'll be a treadmill for me when I can get the money :joy
