OMG. It's freaking awesome. I'm not scared of "step aerobics"!! Although, the hula hoop thing is slightly challenging for over 3 minutes.

    Anyway, yes. It rocks.

I'm dying to get this! Actually I have to save up to get a wii first LOL, but thanks for letting us know...

Is there additional exercises you can add to it or does it come with them all..and which ones does it come with?

      Re: Wii Fit

It currently comes with a CD that has Yoga, Aerobics, Strength Training and Balance activities. The more activities that you do, the more exercises/activities are unlocked.

There is a game you can buy - Wii Ski that you can use with the balance board (you pretend to ski/snowboard). They should be releasing a new game that is DDR with the board (instead of the mat), that will be like the step aerobics that are currently available. I'm hoping it'll give a much longer version since as much as I can tell (I have most things unlocked), the longest the step goes for is 6 minutes.

        Re: Wii Fit

This is my number one new obsession. I actually, quite arrogantly, thought it would never give me the fitness level of my usual routines. I stand corrected. I love, love, love it. My husband is the last person ever to do any kind of exercise and for the first time since I've known him, he will get off his butt and join in. The only problem is I can spend at least two to three hours a day between the Wii Fit and the Wii sports - no time for anything else. BTW it has taught me how rubbish I am at the balance stuff. Wish I'd bought shares in Ninetendo now as I really think this is going to take off in a big way, if you can afford it. However I actually think it's better than a gym membership.

            Re: Wii Fit

I actually bought mine the first day they were out (we left work to go get them) and have been told they basically sell out as soon as they're in the store. I'm pretty sure there are websites that take pre-orders but I don't remember off the top of my head. They have them at Target, WalMart, BestBuy, CircuitCity, GameStop.

OMG!! I want one of these so bad!!! How expensive is it, if that isn't too rude to ask. I wanted to buy a Wii at Walmart a month ago, and they are sold out. Thank you for letting us know how great it is!!

I think they're about $90. I seriously went to Circuit City because while they were sold out everywhere else, they were still available there.

We're saving up for one, too...we got hooked on the bowling at a party we went to. It's a great social toy, too!

Aaah...so there's the difference. I was thinking it was the whole unit that was $90. That makes sense, now. Sorry...I really must get deeper into the 21st century and understand all this lingo

We LOVE our Wii Fit here! Not only great exercise but a great physical way to spend family time!!!!! I don't care for the step much but I am hula hoop Queen at my house in both the normal and advanced levels!!!!

I would highly reccommend it to any and everyone! We actually have one at the nursing home I work at as well and it's great to get the residents up and moving!

Omg, Fred Meyer! I used to live in the Northwest and I remember Fred Meyer! We don't have that here, also our Bon is Macy's. Little things....oh and our rain is sun, lol, j/k. They are physically sold out at all locations in my area and online they are quadruple the price. Some people are selling them used on craigslist for ridiculous amounts. I think we may have to wait. What's up with Nintendo....make more Wii Fits!

In the mean time I get my sweat on with the Wii sports boxing. Hardly a compromise but still fun.

I have a Wii and Wii Fit and agree ITS THE BEST. I got my Wii from go4computers.com. It was $50 more than what you pay in the store, but I was able to get one where as every store is SOLD OUT, so it was well worth the additional $50 plus $20 for Fed Ex Shipping. I ended up going on Ebay to get my Wii fit ... again no one else has them, so I paid $50 more for it than it goes for in the store.
