Well it has been almost 2 weeks since I restarted Atkins. I am barely losing weight...I am drinking 100 ounces of water AT LEAST per day. I am following alll the rules...measuring my food to the tee and I even started exercising.

I am going to the orthopedic this am and I am going to ask him about the cortizone he gave me. I really need those shots as it is the only thing that helps me through the pain.

BTW< I am in Ketosis...my breath even stinks lol.

    Joy

If you are losing, then you're doing OK. Some people are slower than others. I'm a really really really slow loser, but I look at it this way, at least I'm not gaining. Did you just start exercising? Give yourself some time. How do you feel? Some people have been able to increase their loss by cutting out the dairy. Maybe give that a try. Also, check condiments for illegal ingredients. (i.e) I just discovered sugar in my mayo. Keep doing what you're doing. At least you are losing. Good luck, and don't get discouraged.

Well its not the dairy nor the ingredients.

I hate mayo and I am not a cheese person. I may eat 2 ounces a day if I am lucky lol. I buy all my products without sodium.

        We will see.

From your stats it looked like you lost almost 7 pounds. Is that from before Atkins or is that just in the last 2 weeks? If that's the last two weeks then those are awesome results!! If not, hang in there!!

I only lost 3 pounds my first two weeks, when it looked like everyone around me was losing more then 10. For me, I think since I started being physically active a month before I started atkins, that I didnt' have much water weight to lose, ya know? I dunno, everyone is different!!

But just keep moving forward, and you'll see things start to happen!!

What I meant about the cheese, is that some people have had success with completely eliminating cheese and dairy from their diet. I wasn't implying that you ate too much at all.

Well I just got back from the orthopedic and he has released me and told me to keep up with the exercises and stretches...he knows I am on Atkins and he says keep it up. so I am pleased about that.

He also said the cortizone would cause me to lose weight if I took it on a daily basis, but since I only had one injection on May 24th, I should not have a problem at all.
