Re: Don't Wait for 2008! - Century Club Challenge

I didn't see Wednsday Roll Call so i'm checking in here. I'm having a great Atkins day. Day two of no cheats for me. DH and I went to town for groceries today. I'm all stocked up for everything on Atkins. I'm trying new recipes this holiday season. I've been posting recipes in the recipe threads if anyone is interested. Also If anyone has any request for recipes I have tons of them. Would be happy to share.

Oh great! I'm not much of a cook but like trying new, easy, Atkins recipes. I'll have to take a look. Glad to hear you're still going strong. What recipes do you plan on making for Turkey Day? Do you have any recipes for 'mock sweet potatoes?"

Eating went well, but I'm still at work. Hopefully another hour then I'll be done. 12 hours can be wearing. Oh well, at least they pay me...

What type of work do you do bluebelt? 12 hours is a long day! Glad to hear your eating went well.

Sorry, no mock sweet potatoes. A pumpkin cheesecake though. I'm making a blackberry pie made with an almond crust this year for holiday. Also a jello, cream cheese mold, turkey, fresh green beans, deviled eggs, olives and stuffed celery. That will do it for me. Good to see everyone doing so well!

Oh, I should have guessed something to do with policework from your avatar pic. I'm a special education teacher and I'm exhausted after an 8 hour day. I can't imagine working 12. Silly question, but.... do you ever get to work with the police dogs?

Yeah, on occasoion we will use drug dogs when we do search warrants or raids. Generally, I only work 10 hours days, but me and my unit have to be pretty flexible about hours.

Bluebelt, I've always had an interest in service dogs of any kind...mainly dogs that assist people with disabilities, but drug dogs are just as cool. For as long as I can remember I have wanted to be a dog trainer but have never pursued it seriously. It must be really neat getting to work with them as you do.

Hey Austlyn, how has your day been?
