I am sooooo glad it's Friday! I am taking my 27 year old twins to the beach for their birthday tonight and tomorrow. It has turned very chilly here but it will be nice to have a girls weekend! You all might say a little prayer for my dh...he is helping with the grandchildren...he will have fun I am sure!
They both do a low carb diet so it will not be a challenge to stay true.

Checking in. I gotta be honest. I fell off the wagon. Possibly just for a bit while the doctors are trying to sort out my heart issue. I want to be sure that I didn't cause it through this diet. Keeping things low calorie and lower carb for the next week or so till I meet with the doc again. I'm going to eat a few more vegetables and maybe a yogurt for breakfast.
Mostly I'm just really scared about having a heart issue at 34.
I am up a pound in the last two days since switching. The doc says no going to the gym till he authorizes.
3 weeks ago I was a healthy fat guy eating whatever I wanted.
Don't stop posting, let us know what's going on with you. I would doubt it would be this wol that would cause you your current problems. You know we have all abused our bodies with our weight. I am sure they will get you straightened out shortly.
Rob, I hope you get everything figured out. My Doctor was a little skeptical too of my diet until he saw all of my major health problems disappear right before his very own two eyes. Hang in there, heart probs are very serious.

doing well here, spent a hour at the gym this am, working with my trainer on interval training. She has given me a kick butt routine for the next 5 weeks, until I go on vacation to the dominican at the end of Feb.
Im so excited I get to go shopping for my stability ball and a few choice pieces of exercise equipment today. What do the rest of you have planned for today?

good luck Chicklady...I am 47 ...I quit smoking after 30 years....by the time I quit I was smoking 2-3 packs PER DAY!! I was ALWAYS smoking.....I got up at night to smoke!!!! I began to believe that I could never quit and that I would die from lung cancer...I really did....but I DID quit!!!
Thanks Lori. I'm at almost 3 packs as well. Been smoking 30 years now. Somethings gotta work. Already tried cold turkey, various nicotine substitutes, some mind drug and hypnosis.

I am sticking to it! Daughter is visiting and she is lc too, which helps. I am due to weigh Sat. am but won't be able to weigh till Sun as I gave my dear daughter my scale. Have a great w/e everyone, I'll be working!
