  • CC Roll Call Thursday 9/10

    Hello fellow CC'ers ... wishing you an awesome low carb day.

    In oder to keep on track...to keep me motivated I recently programmed a little note to my cell phone screen which states "one day at a time".

    So everytime I look at it (and I look at it frequently every day) it gives me a good feeling and keeps me on plan.

    Do you have any tipps and tricks you might want to share?

    Good morning Swiss Miss and all to come, I hope everyone has a fabulous low carb day today.

    Drink lots of water and don't forget to add some form of exercise into your schedule today!

      Hey~ came home for lunch... leftovers that seemed unappealing, but once that chicken and broccoli was on the plate, it seemed fantastic. Sometimes I rip into a broccoli clump like it was a piece of meat.

      I tell myself I'm a "good girl" after every well done Atkins meal. Self praise seems to help. Also after shower I lube my skin and talk to it about how it's going to shrink and tighten-up. Can't hurt.

      Going out to breakfast tomorrow, and am mentally armed against my step-daughter's pancakes. Will have a marvelous omlette with veggies and green chili and a side of bacon. Yum.

      Have a great day, and on into the weekend, if I don't get by here.

        Hello Salina, Sarina, Kellen and all those that check in,
        Rewarding yourself with simple pleasures. Be it a hot bubble bath, a pedicure, a movie or a visit with an old friend.That's so important to put yourself first in your busy life with family and careers.
        Find time for yourself. I call it "me time". Make that connection with yourself! Your worth it!

          Good morning CCers Actually, I've been up since 4:30, but really buzzzzzeee.

          It may sound depressing, but I really don't need pep talks to myself anymore, because I've done the yo-yo thing so often, that it has sunk in that this may well be my last chance. I've screwed with my metabolism so much, it's getting tougher and tougher to lose. All I have to do is look in the mirror.





          290 lbs. on 11/02/07 Goal: 145 lbs. or size 14 whichever comes first!
