Thanks for sharing your inspiring story. I, too, have a reunion this summer (my 30th!) and my daughter's getting married in August. When she first told me she was thinking about it a couple of years ago, I had a horrible sinking feeling. I didn't want to be a fat mother-of-the-bride! Thank God for Atkins. I still have a ways to go, but a tool to get there. You've really inspired me. Let's knock 'em dead!

            Joan,

What can I say that hasn't been said?

You're SPECTACULAR in every way a person a can be. You've earned the loss of every pound and are a living testament to the dream of a healthier body, mind and spirit that I believe was always Dr. Atkins foremost priority and driving force.

Your success has inspired more people than you may know - celebrate yourself and your own personal victory - all of us here are celebrating it right along with you.

Joan, I had not seen this post before (thanks kkat for finding it and getting it up on new posts). It brought a tear to my eye to read of your happiness, and it encourages me enormously. I hope the wedding was just wonderful and wish you joy and happiness in your new thin life!
