    I would like to join the daily roll call. Started Induction on Jan 21. My starting weight was 228 so I need to lose approx 100lbs. My goal for 2009 is to lose 50lbs.
    F/39/5'3; Start date: Jan 21, 2009
    1st mini goal 220: met Feb 15, 2009
    2nd mini goal 210: met Mar 19, 2009
    3rd mini goal 200
    4th mini goal 190
    5th mini goal 180

    I started at 235. I lost down to 175 then STALLED. Granted I cheated and ate bad foods, wouldn't commit to going back on the diet! I got to where I could wear size 14's and shop for regular clothes again and lost the desire to finish it. Now I am back on the diet and will try to use the forums more, especially before I attack any peanutbutter. I haven't lost 100lbs yet. But I did loose 60lbs total, 50 of it on Atkins. 50lbs in a year is very possible. The trick is to eat what's on the diet alot more often than not. Good Luck!

    2nd mini goal: 140!
    3rd mini goal:135!
    4th mini goal: 130!

    I drink coffee. I drink when I am thirsty. I am just a low carber. Not on Atkins at all!!! He has everything to do with my weightloss and nothing to do with it, depending on who you ask.

      One more thing. I've realised I'm not perfect. I will gain weight each an every year during the holidays because I will go off the diet. Now if I feel like getting back on the diet, I don't wait and start on a Monday. I don't wait until tomarrow morning even. I just start doing what I'm suppose to right away and keep it up for as long as possible. Yes, its taken me a long time to loose the weight. The breaks I took were breaks I needed. But I keep coming back to the diet and working to keep going in the right direction. I don't make myself feel like a failure when I go off the diet. I just keep coming back to what works. Over and Over and slowly, I'm Winning! Oh so soon you'll be under 200lbs and that feels AWSOME!

        Hi Lifechange welcome aboard! Rollcall thread us usually up pretty early, but if you don't see one for the day, feel free to start one (first one up makes breakfast too (





        290 lbs. on 11/02/07 Goal: 145 lbs. or size 14 whichever comes first!
