I don't know if it will hinder your loss but I do know it flushes your system. So drink up.

It will hinder the weight loss, I believe. You will lose weight, but not as much as you could. The water will fill you up and that would limit the food intake and hunger pangs.

I miss many days where I drink about 100 oz. but would like to drink more. So, I wonder the same thing. The difference between drinking a cup of water as opposed to 120 or so ozs. as opposed to 12 cups instead of 15 would, of course, be different.

I think for me I feel a little bad and that ruins my mood for a while. plus, I am more thirsty and not really in the mood that I would normally be in if I was happier. So, it might slow weight loss adn dehydrate you a little, but it might also effect other aspects of a serious plan.

weightloss or not, if you do not drink enough you will be dehydrated.

You can become dehydrated without feeling thirsty at all. I have been on camping trip in the cold, where my fellow travellers haven't felt thirsty and therefore didn't drink much because they were also cold. But they were dehydrated and their symptoms varied from headaches, to nausea, to vomiting.

Why not try and increase your water consumption gradually? Maybe increase an ounce a day - your body will adjust and you won't feel sick of drinking too much

Yes, the water will effect your weightloss. Keep a BIG glass, like one of those supersize cups, with you all the time, and just sip from it whenever you look at it. That way, you're not drinking large amounts at once making yourself feel yucky.

Water seems to flush away those pounds faster. I notice that when I increase my water intake, my weight seems to move faster. I always keep bottled water everywhere, the car, the kitchen, near the t.v., at arms length. This way I don't forget!!
