  • Fitday is often wrong so customise it

Hi I did know that the values on fitday.com are only approximate but not till deciding to add the specific pork loin steaks we buy did I see how far out it was.

Here is what fitday says for 100 grm of
Pork, fresh, loin, whole, separable lean and fat, raw
    Amount Per 0.22 lb
    Calories 197.59
    Total Fat 12.55g
    Protein 19.7g
    A fat/protein/carb ratio of 59%/41%/0%

Whereas my pack of Lidls Pork Loin Medallions has
    Calories 112 g
    Total Fat 1.9 g
    Protein 23.7 g
    A fat/protein/carb ratio of 15%/85%/0%

    :yikes

Obviously meat is prepared/bred differently so it is important to customise what you are actually eating to reflect the different products rather than accept the 'default' values for another part of the world.
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!
