    Got thru my first cheat free day and it wasn't that I wasn't tempted. I went to a buffet for Asian American Month and OMG the food was to die for. But I only had a salad, some roast beef and some broccoli. I even by-passed the death by chocolate cake that really was calling my name.
    So Cheat free Day 1.
    Yeah for us/

      I've been doing fab~ Of course, flu will do that to a person.

      On to day 3 for me!

      Did I mention I'm also caffeine-free? Woot on thic queen of de west nile virus!

        Count me in, second time around for me. I have been faithful since March but have not lost many pounds. 10 the most. I have lost many inches, but can't understand why the pounds are taking so long to shed. I am purple in ketosis everyday.. I hear everyone telling me it will happen, when??? I don't want to get discouraged. I have to go for a fasting cholestorol as part of a physical. I have never had high cholosterol 188 but I am afraid being on atkins as to what is going to be. If it is high what do I do> go back to WWatchers, low fat diet?

          Thank goodness I found the section of the forum like me.... HUMAN! :anger I am so tired of fighting the force of carbtemptation. I missed the boot camp so now I need :help Why oh why must I crave that bagel with honey nut cream cheese, oh that delicious double espresso caramel mocha latte, why can't I just leave it all alone. :no geez louise. Okay I need to scream one more time.... :yikes . Damn that felt good. Second time around...count me in team! Let's do this!

            Desert & Cleo... WOOT WOOT!!!

            I wish I could say I was cheat free. Last night we had to pick up our roommate from the airport at 10pm. I was so tired!!!! I haven't recovered from our fishing trip Sunday. Anyway, I had a great day until I saw the coffee machine. I got a small french vanilla cappuccino (sp). :anger Oh well, new day today!!

            I'm planning on going to the gym tonight, too.

              Well the energy is kicking in folks! Finally my house is starting to look normal again....well as normal as it gets with a 2 and 3 year old running wild!

              Feeling great and on my 6th day!

              Off to go play in the sun..... :wave

              PS Lets challenge ourselves who can go cheatfree the longest! I just may win ladies...I made a bet with my hubby last night (no I can not give details here! ) and lets just say I have no choice to win cause lords know I must have been crazy last night to agree to the terms if I loose!

                    Alesam - I'm up for the challenge. Should we start the count from tomorrow to allow everyone to join? Make it a fair playing ground? I always feel less likely to cheat when I know I have to answer to someone - this will be fun!
                    Went home for lunch today - made myself a nice low carb bacon cheeseburger - yum! I've had over 60 oz of water so far. Have yoga class tonight. I'm feeling good - so glad I decided to "speak up" on this board and stop lurking.

                          Ok ladies starting tomorrow.....we see who can go the longest cheat free! So be honest (cause it only fools ourselves) and lets see who wins.....well lets just say I know it will be me cause If hubby wins....well lets just say what I have to do will be less embarrassing if I am much skinnier!!!! :nod

                              Hummm, I notice that none of us second time arounders except cleochatra have a picture in our sig. ensive We could make a time limit...say a few weeks and each cheat would warrent a new updated picture???? just a thought ensive

                                Great idea, Im in.
                                Today is my Thursday as I am in Japan, and if I made it though one day, the next should be easier. Should be!!!!! The candy bowl is still calling to me, and I ask the Secretary if she could hide it on her way out.
                                I am not losing weight either, but okay its only been one day, but I haven't lost in months. Lets not make it about losing weight, lets make it about getting healthy.
                                Your cholesterol might go up thornbird, but it should also level off after about 6 months. Do not worry about it. Welcome aboard.
