  • Tuesday exercise check in

    I very grudgingly went to the gym and did 45 min of cardio, followed by ab crunches and stretching.

    About half way thru I started feeling really good.
    Started Atkins 2d time 6/20/05
    218/187/140
    Measuring every 2 weeks
    As of 10/31/05, losta total of 56.75 inches!



    Minimum 45 min cardio per day

      After taking a week off from exercising with a bad attitude and no weight loss, I went for my run last night. This morning I had lost a pound. Thanks to you guys, I didn't quit over the past few days and just kept plugging along. I feel GREAT today and certainly as motivated as I did on day one. Anyone out there thinking of quitting?? Stick it out another day and then one more. The results will be there. Good for you Finelly!

      1st goal: 139 (earlier weight)
      what the rungs mean to me:
      rung 1 - more veggies
      rung 2 - dairy (some milk in coffee)
      rung 3 - seeds, nuts (mostly sprinkled on salads)
      rung 4 - berries, melon
      rung 5 - wine -
      rung 6 - beans, hummus
      rung 7 - other fruits
      rung 8 - carrots/ potatoes (nah, prolly not)
      rung 9 - whole grains (fresh Dutch breads...)
      Major Goal - 128 lbs/ healthy range
      (on to pre-maintenance)

        Well, despite feeling icky, I got that 30 minute walk in.

          I bought some exercise videos. I popped in one called "Cardio Sculpt" (or something like that). After about 2 minutes of trying to keep up with the 20 year old skinny chick, I realized I was in over my head. I sat down and stewed for a while. Then I got out good ole Richard Simmons. I can keep up with him, lol. I felt much better. Think I'll save that cardio video for when I have lost a few more lbs.

            Raindrop - you go girl! Who cares if its Richard Simmons - at least you did something!!!! I know what you mean, though. I was eyeballing my Taebo tapes. Decided a better wait a little while longer to avoid injury. LOL
