I'd be curious to know what you mean by modified low carb. Not to be rude, but if you aren't doing it by the book, you aren't on this plan to begin with. This site promotes doing it by the 2002 version of the DANDR, so without your menu and definition of what modified low carb means, no one here will be able to tell you much. I also noticed that you only have about 29 or so pounds left to lose, and that many pounds is always kind of slow to come off, because it's really not a huge amount. If you weigh 159 pounds and someone is making snide remarks about your weight, they're rude and you need to tell them to take their opinions elsewhere.
This WOE doesn't only promote a "thinner" you, but a healthier you, and if you aren't willing to commit to something totally and be healthy in lieu of thin, no diet is going to make you happy fast enough. Thin fast does not always = healthy.

Well, this is very discouraging to me!! The first time, I lost 7 pounds during induction. This time, I lost only 3 pounds - and all 3 were during the first week. I gained the weight back very quickly, but I don't think I have the patience to wait forever for the weight to come off. Why should I continue eating like this if I can eat a little of all I want, exercise, and lose weight quicker? Or I could eat whatever I want and maintain? I'm maintaining now, and I am following a strict diet.
I gave up this WOE because I got bored and quit losing. I would like to continue this WOE IF it results in a thinner me. Otherwise, I have no motivation to continue.
