Sunday Check In

Good Morning!!

Its down right chilly here today. Brrrr ..... I refuse to turn on my heat so sweatpants and sweatshirts are coming out of storage today. By mid morning it will be much warmer. To warm things up a bit I made egg mcmuffins for the family for breakast and put a stratta in the oven for me so Ill have it to eat all week. Threw a pound of bacon in the oven and now chicken strips, dipped in parmesan cheese are going in next to throw on salads. I may even venture into some raspberry flax muffins and throw em in the freezer as well.

Im going to check out the recipe thread and see if there is something to add to the mix and try a different meal.

Then its dish time and I dont want to mess the kitchen up again for the rest of the day. Its get-your-ownie today at my house...............on a paper plate. I want a dishwasher. Am I the only house left in the United States still doing dishes by hand?

Gooood morning!

I woke up to find that the whooshie fairy had visited and I am now officially in ONEDERLAND!!!!!!!!! 198.5 feels GRRRRREAT!

Going to the mall downtown with my daughter today to look for a dress to wear to homecoming. WE'll meet my other daughter and have lunch. There's a great greek place at the mall that always makes me happy and Atkins-legal.

Yes, Terry, you are the ONLY person left in the USA without a dishwasher. WHAT is up with THAT? Tell dh that it's an ESSENTIAL!!!!!!!

Absoluely freezing here today too. Came back from my walk this morning with bright red nose and fingers. I'll have to dig out the beanie and gloves today.

Sounds like things are cooking at your place, I will start my weeks worth of cooking a little later this afternoon. Maybe Santa will surprise you with a dishwasher this year, I'll keep my fingers crossed for you!

Good morning! I'll be spending my Sunday preparing for boot camp that starts tomorrow. I will be planning for my meals and going grocery shopping. It will be very challenging for me because I didn't expect it to start the week I have to go camping for 4 days! At least I picked a campgrounds that has wireless internet connection. I will have to pay a small fee to connect but it will be worth it.

I haven't been feeling too good lately either. Sore throat, cold and congestion. It makes eating kind of hard. I am not as hungry but I can still drink my water. Wish me luck at Boot Camp. I will try to check in STAC once in a while.

I don't have a dishwasher either. We have the space where the old one was, but my husband doesn't want to get another one. He is the dishwasher here. Finelly, congrats on underland. It is around 67 degrees here. Can't wait to get out the sweatshirts....Dawn

Dawn.... Can I borrow your hubby until I get my dishwasher?

I am determined this is the year Im getting one. One way or another. I dont mind it so much during the summer, its almost relaxing..... but working in a kitchen all day long means dishwashing doesnt hold much charm for me at home.

Need to get a walk in before it rains!
