  • Stalled, Plateau, or just aint losing

It happens, one day we step on the scales and the impossible has happened. We haven't lost any weight. And we haven't on the next day, or the next, or the next. Despite our ongoing effors, we're confronted with the awful truth: We've hit the dreaded weight-loss plateau. Why?
Having been on this board for a looooong time, I can tell you plateaus happen. If you find yourself stuck in one, take heart in knowing that they happen to almost every dieter at one time or another. There's a common time between week three and week six of the low carb diet when they occur for many people and 2big could probably (and has) explained that phenomenon.
Then there is the dreaded three to four months into the diet plateau, when for all the world it seems that your're doing everything right, stringently watching your carbs, exercising regularly and still not losing. Again the causes probably vary, but the anxiety and frustration they cause are very real.
Then there is that dreaded 10 pounds before goal STALL which I do know how to break. You just call it goal and forget it. LOL
So just take heart, we are all in this together and we will make it GOAL

I chose during the first 6 months and right before goal because I'm there right now. :boo:

I had many stalls and struggled through them getting to goal. the first is the worst cause you have no experience knowing there is a lower weight on the other side of this if you just stick with the Atkins plan. Once you learn that it is easier cause the next one you know you just hang in there work your Atkins both the eating and the exercise part and the scales will move again as long as we feed only oour hunger and monitor those carbs.
