  • Exercise Time Switch works Awesome!

My first time around I lost 165# and only did walking 5 days a week (2 mi?). I've got 20 to lose & decided to get a gym membership. I am doing 5 days intense cardio for 1 hour and three days weights/circuit training. The first week I did it in the am after taking my son to school. I was tired all day and a little too hungry at night (pretty much sluggish in general). I decided to try a switch and go at night after dinner, and my appetite has adjusted, I have the energy to get through my day AND No hunger at night. I am on my fourth day of a clean induction (don't know why I did so well last time because I KNOW NOW it wasn't). Even with the TOM bloat, I am already seeing results and pants are really loose! If you are having trouble with getting weight to budge and work out during the day, I would strongly suggest trying exercise at the end of the day! I'm gonna win this one!!

I've been exercising ONLY at night for over a year and a half. I recently started training in the mornings and I found myself sluggish, hungry and feeling just HORRIBLE. The reason, though, is that I didn't EAT ENOUGH in the morning to fuel the tank. It's like taking a car that's almost on Empty and then trying to make it go on a long drive. It ain't gonna happen.

There are definite benefits for exercising at night. Appetite suppression is one of the best ones. Yet, I think there are many benefits for exercising in the morning. It really sets a positive tone for the day. I've been much more enthusiastic, energetic at work. AND, I really have set the tone for my diet/fitness goals for the day too.

The key is finding what works for YOU and making sure that you are giving your body enough FUEL to do the job.

Oh, one more thing. When I talk about FUEL, I am NOT talking necessarily about carbohydrates like most exercise "professionals" or "gurus" will tell you. My carbohydrates (35-40 NET these days) come from vegetables (at least 90%).
