    Hello

    Im back on the atkins, after a 6 month break. I started doing the atkins diet in feb this year to try to lose the last of my baby weight i was left with after buba #4.

    I had a total of around 25 pounds to lose. I managed to do the diet for around 9 weeks, and I lost an amazing 8 lbs during Induction and got down to around 145 lbs.

    Anyway i had to go onto the birth control pill and after a few days of being back on it i felt weak and sick and i just could not face the food anymore, i just craved bread, so i gave up the atkins as i felt it just was not working for me anymore.

    Instead of just eating whatever, i followed a low carb style diet, just eating good carbs, like brown rice, brown pasta multiseed breads etc, but just having small portions. I felt much better, but didnt lose any more weight in fact over the 6 months i gained 4lbs. (but the last month i did eat quite a bit of chocolate )

    So i decided to change my birth control pill to another brand as i still kept getting a bit of nausea here and there, i found out it was too strong for me. Then i re-started doing Atkins, to lose the last few pounds that have been hanging around me. During Induction i lost 7lbs!! to my amazement, i have only another 6 lbs to go now.

    So now im in week 4 and doing extra veggies, well trying to do extra veggies, (have little appetite) as i only have a few pounds left to go, do you think i should add 10 extra grams of carbs a week?? or stick with the 5??.
