    TGIF!!!

    I am so grateful that it is Friday~~~it has been a long work week. On a better note I have enjoyed the Veggie Challenge & would encourage everyone to join when it is offered again. I was right on about not eating enough veggies & this challenged proved it. I'm feeling thinner this week & may just take a peek on the scale today.

    Have a fantastic day & of course be kind to yourself. Today is our 9th anniversary! Having steak on the grill & ratatouille for dinner. May even watch our wedding video just for old times sake!

    congratulations on your anniversary! hey why not pop in the wedding video! how exciting! enjoy your special dinner tonight!


    i, too, am so glad it is friday!! i am going out of town to visit family after work for the weekend so that will be fun.

      What a busy weekend around here.. My son has his first scrimmage tonight and then we are going to a fundraiser cookie stroll for my niece. Tomorrow my Hubby and I are driving to Flossmoor, Illinois to buy a bigger sailboat. I think it is around 4 hours from Michigan. All I know is I can't wait.

      Didn't get a chance to go to spinning this morning (6 A.M was not looking good to me this morning) but plan on doing some cardio/weights in the basement. I have been struggling lately with eating late at night. Anyone else getting the late night hunger pangs?? I can tell in my waistline that it is not helping me at all. I HAVE TO STOP!

      Well, I am off.. Talk to you guy's later.

        Happy anniversary!

        I'm glad that it's Friday too. It's been a rough week, but yesterday I was finally back down to my ticker weight. I know it sounds like whining or an excuse, but the day of my colonoscopy I was up 6.5lbs (with totally empty insides) and it's taken a month to get it off. Now today I'm down .5lbs. I hope this is the sign of good things to come.

        Cold and rainy today and all weekend. I think I blinked and missed summer! On the bright side, we heard some encouraging news about dh and his search for a job in Florida. We won't know anything for a few weeks, but we're very hopeful. It would be wonderful to be able to move before winter strikes again.

          Ok - it's raining again. My work is just about to start as we have a HUGE farm tour this weekend. It's county-wide and free to the public but we are allowed to sell stuff off the farm which is cool. So as I sit with my "maybe broken foot" my husband has been doing most of the work to get ready. I butchered 11 chickens yesterday and was hopefully doing more today but it's not happening with this rain.

          My weight is about the same jumping from 139-140 which is ok. I'm not eating enough and I know it but I'm just busy and trying to do stuff so eating just doesn't happen as much as it should.

          Fingers crossed as we need a big weekend..... money run short until we get rid of some of the animals we have - a lot of money gets wrapped up into meat so we need to sell a BUNCH to get bills straight. UGH... it's such a cycle

          Oh - I just found out that all that pork fat I have in the freezer to sell can be used to make "pork rinds" or cracklins I guess - now I just need to figure out HOW to do it.

                Chic - I bet the meat you butcher and sell probably tastes SOOO much better thant the stuff they sell in the store......?

                It's the weekend, I have my meals planned so there is no window for cheats for me. I work all the way through the weekend though so that's another reason why there's no window for cheats. TOM is upon so I won't be weighting myself again until afterwards and let me just say sit ups are flippin' hard right now because of TOM...haha.

                    Good morning everyone- it's going to be a 'scorcher' here today 90+ degrees, which is really warm for Oregon. Wish I could send some sunshine your way, Dana!
                    Water, water, water. That's my theme for today. If I don't stay 'juicey' I don't lose the weight. . . .
                    Notice the cool little german ticker? 112 kilos sounds SO much better than 246 lbs! Maybe I can zip into size 12 jeans again someday . . .

                      I am here. It is my 4th day back in the US and I picked up a crummy stomach bug that wont go away. Every time I eat a protein or fat it sends me running. So I am ditching low carb for chicken broth, rice, and applesauce for the next day or so, then I will be back on as soon as my insides calm down. The plus side is that I am not even looking forward to having the carbs. I would rather be eating my normal stuff!

                        Jill, does your doctor have you on Cipro? I've spent some time overseas, and always had an emergency stash available for stomach bugs. . . .

                          Happy Anniversary, Glenda!

                          Well, it's my birthday and I have an upper respiratory infection. Isn't that fun? And to top it off, we are state-wide testing at school and I couldn't take off. BUT, my buddies here at school made me sugar-free jello with real whipped cream! Yeah, it's not totally legal, since it's got aspartame, but at least it's not a cake and they were keeping me on track! I haven't felt like eating much anyway and it was refreshing. Hope everyone has a good day!

                              Hi everyone.. I am here..not eating right but here.. I have piddled around the house all week.. Today so far I have scrapbooked 3 pages which makes me very happy to do something I love..

                              I have to tell you something funny.. Yesterday I picked up my daughter early from school she was feeling terrible (Tom) and so I brought her home..and drugged her. Well this morning she was hurting really bad..and since there wasn't enough time for the medicine to kick in before school started I kept her home. So we went to the Chiropractor a few hours later after she was feeling better.. and stopped at a restaurant for lunch..and guess who shows up there.. HER HISTORY TEACHER!...lol Of all people to show up there...lol She told him she had a doctors appointment...lol

                              Raining here again...so sick of rain... Daughter and her boyfriend went to see Narnia...
