    Good morning everybody. Back from California and ready to get back into ketosis again. I have returned to hot and muggy weather....
    Today I will work towards restarting. We ate liberally in california and both my daughter and I felt the effects of our choices and again having been here for almost 2 years and living a very low carb lifestyle, I am always surprised how we long to "get back" to thriving and having food quiet in our world again.
    We are far more addicted to the lifestlye we have committed to here than the vacation-eat-anything lifestyle we just were in. Very interesting observation.
    My daughter said it best last night as the plane landed in Atlanta, "I truly believe I can do it this summer, you know loose all this weight and be strong".
    My journey constantly teaches me new things.

    Welcome back Jess! Sounds like the trip was wonderful!

    Off from work today with plans for some me time~~~if DH stays out of my way. Day 4 of being back on track/back to basics. Feeling great~~~no headaches or flu like symptoms. Hoping the burst of energy hits today!

      good morning! finally, an eary check in for me. i'm off to work in a few. feeling lazy and tired. hopefully, i will be able to leave a bit earlier than usual today and then i can get in my much needed exercise! well, off i go!

        Ah, just got out of the shower... feeling good...

        I've decided not to weigh myself for a few days... it nevers seems to brighten my day... even with a loss... it's either not enough or not at all... so I'll jusdt go by how I feel for a while and see how I coast.

        Welcome back Jess!!! I was wondering where you were!! I returned about 7 days ago?
        And hadn't seen you on here... Good thing you're back! I'd thought you'd relapsed or something horrible like that! I should've known better!

        And hello everyone else

          Welcome back Jess!! It's good to see you around again because the board isn't the same without you. (btw--today is the 28th--you might wanna edit??)



          I'd down another 1/2 pound today and jumping up and down over it. I love ketosis. It's the only time in my life that I wake up at 6am leaping from the bed to start the day!

            Foggy, cold & rainy here - UGH!

            Day starting out ok - feel good, other than this crappy weather. Heading out for a lunchdate with some pals, Nappytime and off to the gym for Boot Camp class - whahooooo!

              Morning everyone! Hope you are all doing well.

              I think it's time the hubby takes the scale away from me. I've been getting so discouraged not seeing any changed in the last few days. I'm not going to relapse or anything because I feel too good. I'm in Ketosis so the "stall" may be due to me working out a lot more...muscle is heavier than fat...blah.

              Oh well. I need to up my veggies, maybe that'll give me a little whoosh.

                Well the day is half over for me...didn't sleep great last night but I'll get through it..I don't know if it's me getting older but I don't sleep like I used to..I can fall asleep I just can't stay asleep.Oh well it's beautiful out the sun is shining and I only have 3 more hours here at work!!

                  Beautiful day here. I'm tired. It was hot last night and it took the kids FOREVER to get to sleep! That meant I had to stay up to turn off lights.

                  I made a few sundresses yesterday and I am so excited about it!! I made 2 for my daughter and 1 for myself and they are cute. Just wish mine wasn't "black" - so it means I need to go and get more fabric. It's the type with the elastic already on the top so I only have to do 2 seams which I am capable of (I stink at sewing)

                  I'm craving sweets..... even made cheap instant cookie dough last night but I didn't like the taste of it so I threw it out. I think it's because I am tired and grumpy - oh well.

                    Hi all! Wow, everyone's reporting beautiful weather, but here in South Texas it's a killer. This heat/humidity is really getting to me! I'd love to have a rainy/cold day over here. Had a late start this morning, hehe. I'm still sore from starting C25K yesterday! Have an awesome day everybody!

                      I've been away from the board for about a week and it looks different! I like the changes.

                      It was my b-day on Monday and was carbing it over the weekend. I feel boated and sluggish. A cold doesn't help that out.

                        Well, Today was yet another LAZY feeling day for me. I did manage to do some exercise and go grocery shopping but that is it. I did good all day today with eating except for a few almonds/cashews. (are nut's ok?) I am headed out in a few to take my 5 year old to a Birthday party.. PLEASE HELP ME RESIST CAKE!!!!

                          Nuts are ok depending on level of OWL you are. If you are still in Induction then they aren't. Only eat what's on the acceptable foods list. Say no to cake!!!!
