Different people lose different amounts of weight during induction. If you're concerned about your lack of loss I reccomend going over the induction rules and make sure you're following them strictly. If you're following the rules consider upping your water intake, and make sure you're exercising. Strict induction, lots of water, and exercise are key. If you've been following all of the above keep up the great work! 11 pounds is still a great loss, keep up the great work!

Here I go with the math formulas again: 11lbs in 18 days = .61lbs per day. .61 x 30days=18lbs in a average month. 18lbs per month x 12 months = 216.00 lbs per year. Put that in perspective, you are doing great.

Thanks guys, but at my size the scale has not moved in 4 days and I am wondering whats up? I am doing it per the book, I count it all and it seems that it should go to at least 1 or 3/4 lb per day for an avg of 23 pr month, I hope it goes fast, I am very excited about the whole program, you would not belive how many hours online I spent gathing info and comparing to other diets and reading most of the studies that Dr. Atkins others did. well thanx again

Poppie, don't be discouraged, there isn't any rate the you SHOULD be going at, it happens when it happens. Some people hit stalls which are normal. I want to suggest that you weigh yourself once a week so you're not stressing so much and it makes the weekly weigh in an event, it will make you feel a lot better, trust me.

OK while you're in the part where you can type what you want to post, you'll see a little picture of a mountain (insert image icon) above the posting screen. On my screen it's a mountain, yellow sky, little sun. Click that and in the box that pops up, put in the part below.

If you want it in your signature, just go to the user control panel
says user CP at the top of the page, then to edit signature then the same thing with the image insert icon

Just cut and paste this, it's your ticker link. I'm so sorry if I've confused you even more.
