I FINALLY crossed the 100 pound mark after six months and one week. I must admit, it was a little anticlimatic. You kind of think that there is going to be this big celebration in your mind with fireworks and all. The reality is, I knew it was coming last week when I was down 97 pounds, and it just feels like another three pounds.
Not that I'm not excited though! I'm really proud of myself and my accomplishment. I just wish I had romanticized it so much. Even more than my weight loss, I'm exciting about my new size. I went from a 52 waist to a 40 waist and a 4x shirt to a 1x shirt. I even lost a shoe size. March 16th is my 7 month anniversary, so I'll be sure to post a before and after picture on that date for everyone to see.
Hopefully, the next 100 will come off by August. I dropped the first 100 being really slack with exercise and even the diet at times, I'm ready to be sexy, so I'm going to get it all under control NOW.
I do have a bit of advice for anyone who has a 100 pounds to lose. The first is stick to it. If the scale is discouraging you, throw it away. Better yet, get a digital scale. I take my battery to work and give it to a co-worker and tell them when to let me have it back. Second, if you eat a cookie, don't do anything silly like cry, have a breakdown, beat yourself up, ect. Simply stop eating the cookie, direct yourself to the nearest gym, and drink tons of water, then don't weigh yourself for a couple of days. It'll be like it never happened. Third, nothing is better than before and after pictures to monitor progress!
That is all. I may write a more detailed post in the century club soon.
I hope everyone is having a great low-carb journey!
