Re: I Never Chose To Be Fat - My Weight Loss Story.

Wow, thanks for sharing your thoughts with us. I printed out your post to put right by my computer. I thought I knew that stuff, but you put it in a way that makes me really get it for the first time completely.
I am thrilled for your success, you worked hard and figured it out and got to your goal and that is so awesome. Thanks for showing the rest of us how to do it.

      Great Story.

And wouldn't I like to get below 200?

I can eat at or just below my Basal Metabolic Rate of 1900 cals and hold steady, but break 200?
Atkins didn't say 'Calories don't count',
      he said, 'Don't count calories.'

Began Atkins March 04 at 260lb, reduced to 203lb by April 07 and maintained.

Atkins makes exercise mandatory - I took up cycling - see last pics at 203lb.

An extraordinary guy is what you are!! Thank you so much for sharing it is particularly useful as a piece of information to show the medical professionals who are soooo negative about Atkins when they have nothing to offer instead. Way to go and thank you for sharing.

Re: I Never Chose To Be Fat - My Weight Loss Story.

i have several questions? First how often did you jump on the scale? Second, did you ever get on the scale and get really down because it went the other direction? I am so inspired by your extreme success I feel ashamed of my own because I seem to get discouraged when I get on the scale and it said I gained three pounds. What was a regular week for you when you started after the induction stage?

Re: I Never Chose To Be Fat - My Weight Loss Story.

.....the amazing thing is, so many (uninformed) people would say that your method of weight loss is impossible and unhealthy. Thanks for the great post.

What a great post to read. Thanks for sharing. To those of us who are just starting out, this is quite inspirational and gives hope.
I found the section about the apple making you hungry quite interesting and insightful. You have to be pretty in tune with your body to be able to deduct which food makes you crave more. Hopefully someday I'll get there. For now, I'll just eat another steak and eggs....
