  • Is this okay?

My totals for the day ended up to be

    fats: 69%
    protien: 28%
    carbs: 3%
    calories: 2051

That seems like a TON of calories...I know that calories aren't what we measure but geesh should they be that high? I know carbs need to be up a bit but I can't put another veggie in my mouth today!

oh yeah and I drank 100oz of water...want to add another 20oz to that but I have an apt tonight and don't want to go to the bathroom every 5 minutes.

Don't worry about your calories first time out. Eat until your satisfied. That's what helped me to be successful. Then, about 5 days in, you're remarkably weired out by the fact that you're just plain ole not hungry anymore!

Keep it up; it's only 2 weeks and you can do it!

How many of those calories were from Fat? Would ya give a link to your fitday journal for us to see?

        Hi Shay :wave
As others have said - dont worry about calories at this stage. Concentrate on eating the right food in the right amounts, drinking your water and getting your exercise in :hug

If you are finding it hard to eat your veggies you can always cook something like finely chopped red peppers, tomatoes or green onions and then puree it and add some cream and butter for a great tasting sauce to go with your meats.
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!
