  • how often should we weigh ourselves?

    I'm posting this in the Induction forum b/c I'm back on induction as of today. I've been on induction for a week, then had some strawberries and some wine over the weekend, and a few advantage bars b/c i didn't have time to make meals, and boom! I am up 2lbs. So...having said that, I'm biting the bullet, going to do a clean induction all over again, and then head to OWL. I'm planning on weighing myself once Induction is over. After that, when I've moved onto OWL, how often do you recommend weighing in?

    It depends on you. Some people weigh daily, but they can do it because they don't get depressed over the normal fluctuations in weight. Others weigh once a week or once every two weeks.

        I weigh and measure weekly. But, if I get bored, I measure myself instead of going to the scale.

          I weigh daily and measure weekly. Weighing daily works for me because it seems to keep me on track. Seeing the number on the scale everyday reminds me of where I am with my weight and where I want to be. But everyone is different.

            I like to weigh daily...every morning, when I feel I'm my lightest. I find it encouraging and it helps me keep motivated and on track.

              i just started yesterday and am feeling great. I think you should weigh yourself after your induction phase. that is what i am going to do...good luck :icondance
