  • Long John Silver's!!!!!!!

Where I live, we used to have 2 long john silvers near by. Then about 5-6 years ago they were both closed down. I *LOVE* Long John's so much! Well they just built one next to my work and it opened today, needless to say everyone in my office now is sitting here eating from there. Im sitting here trying to be content with my TUNA, while they are chomping in on hushpuppies and beer battered chicken and those little crispies that are always on the bottom!!! I want some sooooooooo bad, so I keep leaving the room, trying to get a breath of fresh air, but when I hit the door, oh man its so powerful! I hope in an attempt to not eat Long John's....that I dont eat my arm off!!!

Let me give you a visual. When I worked at Burger King in Az I found a cockroach floating in the milkshake mix. The manager fished out the roach but didn't throw away the mix. Now imagine cockroaches floating in the batter of what those people are eating...hopefully you can still manage the tuna...

I used to work at Mcdonald's back in the day, we would open the boxes that the ketchup packets came in and cut off the top, and try to throw them and end up over top of all the mice that were there. Ba Da Ba Ba Ba I'm Lovin it...................

No problem! When I crave fast food stuff I just remember how lax they are about silly things like disease infested critters.

Do you cook? Seriously.. Thanks to Atkins (and my GF who LOVES it when I cook for her) I've been learning more and more about cooking (not that I was too shaby before). Now when I look at the crap that comes out of fast food establishments I just laugh as I can make food thats 10x tastier and 10x healthier and 10x cheaper!

Last night I made spicy garlic whole prawns with mixed vegetables. Man that was good. Very spicy.. Both my GF and I ate for about $10.. Would have been at LEAST $40 if we ate out and certainly not Atkins friendly.

Have you got as far down the board as the 'Recipe' section yet?
There is one forum you can ask any questions called 'Recipe Requests' http://www.atkinsdietbulletinboard.c...splay.php?f=29 and another where those requests for help are answered http://www.atkinsdietbulletinboard.c...splay.php?f=35 which has lots of info and advice on making Atkins friendly meals.
