when Dr Atkins advised us to use stuff with no sugar he meant in the ingredients list. the sugar listed on the nutritonal lable can be naturally occuring sugars like in accetable veggies. the gram of sugar isn't a gram of table sugar. They make a disticntion between the complex carbs and the simple sugar carbs even the ones naturally occuring in foods like those in some of the acceptable veggies.
On for his instructions on salad dressings in inductoin he was wellaware they had sugar listed on the nutrition lable that is why he said under 2 grams of carbs perserving.

and unless you are adding mega cheese to your dressing you are not going to even get 1/2 an ounce in your 2 carb limited bleu cheese dressing. most recipes I've checked on line add 4 ounces of cheese to the recipe and make over 2 cups

I see what you mean 2big, but in this case thought the Ranch dressing their talking about does have sugar in the ingredients.

yes it does BUT ingredients are listed by weight in the product and if you look at the lable you will see the sugar is way down the list you are talking miligram serving size not gram

              JerseyGirl,

I have some of the French and was going to use it and then I got scared because of the talk of dressings. Did it mess you your loss or anything?

                Hi BabyDreamer,

I've been using Kraft Carb Well since I started Atkins a year & a half ago. It hasn't kept me from losing but, everyone is different. I love the French, Italian & the Ranch. Its made with Splenda, some people are sensitive to Splenda....luckily,I'm not one of them.

                Good Luck To You!

Thanks for the tip. I don't seem to have a Splenda problem either, but I shall proceed with caution.
