  • I haven't been exercising....

    hi all
    today is day 8 (started last sunday) and all is going ok. I weighed today and have gone done 3 kilos (6 pounds) which is great, and appetite is alot more controlled.

    Thing is, I haven't been doing ANY exercise. Last year when I did induction I exercised regularly, but this time I "haven't had time". Anyhow, so today I thought I better kick myself into gear and go to the gym.

    And WOW what had I been missing out on! I did 15 minutes cardio, then 15 resistance, then 15 cardio again, all throughout i was feeling great, jogging and cycling away, and feeling very energetic!

    So, I'm gonna start going to the gym again regularly, cos I think it's the key to the energy-boost the book promises, and you feel so much better after finishing.

    I guess DANDR said it right, EXERCISE IS NON-NEGOTIABLE!

    Yanno, when I saw this thread I thought .. UH OH ... somebody's in trouble! But after reading what you've done, all I can say is

      You are right. I had the same thing happen in February. I was so busy at work, by the time I got home I was exhausted and didn't exercise. I felt so lethargic.

      I'm exercising again and my energy level is way up---and so is my mood!

      Dr. Atkins was right once again!

          Your body will also reward you by increasing the HDLs or "good cholesterol" too. The only ways to increase the HDLs is either drugs or exercise. Exercise is less expensive.

            Big praise for everyone who is exercising. I know that when I exercise it is not only good for my body but it helps it also helps repress any momentary desire I may have to cheat.
