Looks like a decent enough day but lacking in veggies and in veggie variety....are you using www.fitday.com to chart your foods? It can be a huge help in knowing where you are with your numbers. Here's a link to help you out.
    http://www.atkinsdietbulletinboard.com/forums/showthread.php?t=5235

You have read Dr. Atkins New Diet Revolution, version 2002, DANDR for short, yes?

A word about iceberg lettuce....nutritionally it's little more than chewy water. Next time you're shopping, stock up on a variety of veggies from the Acceptable Foods list and mix it up so you get all the nutrients and fiber that each veggie offers. Dark leafy greens like Romaine and spinach (generally we regard spinach as being on the 3 cup list even though the book says otherwise) are much better for you than iceberg.

Remember that Atkins is a high fat diet (and Fitday will help you see what's going on with that) so no need to be so skimpy with the dressings.

The rule of thumb with water is 64 ounces a day, plus 8 ounces more for each 25 pounds you need to lose. I got myself a nice big 32 ounce water bottle and I know that I have to at the very least drink two of them a day. It makes it much easier to keep track of.

Hang in there....get ready for Induction Flu, and all the best to you in the coming weeks...stay strong and determined!

Moochiecat gave you great advice..and I just wanted to add about the spinach part. I buy baby spinach leaves in the bag. I also buy hearts of romaine lettuce in the bag. I mix them both in a bowl <a little at a time of course> and add salami, pepperoni, ham. Then add a little cut up provolone cheese, pepperoncini, and italian dressing. Makes a wonderful italian salad for lunch or dinner. I always use baby spinach leaves because I love the texture <not too watery> and the flavor is wonderful. I am NOT fond of COOKED spinach, but the raw stuff is gooood!
      I did it!!

        Hello Moochie Cat and Coitrina,

Thanks to you both for the great advice and ideas.

Moochiecat ~ I didn't know that about iceberg lettuce. .I will switch to spinach i don't have a problem with it anyway .. I wasn't skimping on the dressing, I really don't like alot of salad dressing But I will try to add more.

Lastnight I purchased a water bottle that is 1.5 litters and I plan on drinking two (maybe more) of those per day.

Today so far i have already had more than half of the 1.5 liter
1 cup of chorizo with eggs and heavy cream and i sprinkled some cheese on top

For lunch i brought a hamburger pattie with cheese
and a half cup of string beans

for dinner i plan on having
        2 slices of bacon
        2 eggs - w/ cream
2 cups of baby spinach salad with dressing and cheese sprinkled on top.

And of course plenty of water in between. . .(my head is killing me)

So how's my day look. . oh moochie cat. . yes I have the book and have read it.. .that website fitday is confusing to me. .but I will keep tinkering with it. . Thanks!!

If you are eating processed meats like sausage and bacon you have to remember that they contain a fair amount of sodium, so drink lots of water when you eat them. If you purchased the hamburger patties they may have a lot of sodium as well. You want to think about planning ahead....why not make some homemade hamburgers and take them along for lunch so you know what's in them.

Make sure you stay within your cream limits as per DANDR.

And hang in there with Fitday! If there's something in particular that is confusing you, let us know so we can help you with that. It's just an amazing tool.
