  • Pickles and other foods?

    I know we're supposed to avoid processed foods during induction, but I find that sometimes I just need a little something else with what I'm eating. Dill pickles seem okay to me because they're made from cucumbers, vinegar, salt, and dill, and all are okay. I'd like to wrap them with swiss cheese and ham for finger food for lunch. Would that be okay?
    June Goals
    1. Continue with water
    2. Use bike more (3x per week would be nice).
    3. Continue with videos.
    4. Go to the YMCA for water classes.
    5. Build stamina for more walking.


    Goals for May:
    1. Water every day - at least 100 oz.
    2. Walk through Wal Mart instead of ride.
    3. Post every day.
    4. Get the exercise bike out of basement and use it!
    5. Re-read DANDR! It's been too long.

    just read the ingredients on your labels. a number of dill pickle people put sugar intheir brining mixture.

    (Modified OWL-moving up rungs for convenience when travelling, keeping carbs moderate)
    Foods I cannot have-
    Black beans.- instant headache and upset belly.
    spaghetti squash mixed with tomatoes- ravenous


    I Made it!!!! TWICE!!!! (10/06 and 1/07!!!)

        I picked up some Vlasic dill's sweetened with Splenda. As long as I keep it under my 3 servings for sweetners, I find them to be pretty good. I'm not a huge pickle fan by any shot, but they're quick and filling in a pinch for a snack.

          same as others said just read the labels. Also wanted to say I love your goal list for May. I especially like the one about getting the bike out. LOL
