  • My first day

It has gone well so far; my craving will come around 6 to 9 pm.
I will have to say strong and push threw that horrible time.
I really hope this works for me!

      Re: My first day

My first couple of days, i had cravings about that time too. I would take a long bath first and then I would have a 16 oz glass of water while in the bathtub. When I got out another 16 oz. Then I would find something great on TV (I am not much of a TV watcher) then i would have some green peppers, cucumber slices and 1 strawberry for the end. I would not think of how much I could eat, only that if I ate this amount, I could see the scales go DOWN!!
Good luck ......you can do it!!!

If you are hungry--you should snack. Try to find some induction friendly snacks you could fit in during those hours to keep you comfortable.

Also--DRINK DRINK DRINK. Make sure you are getting enough water--hunger pangs could be a sign that you are thirsty.

Just a note; strawberries aren't allowed on induction.

          You'll do fine.

            Ugg.

            I failed today.
I had some sweets for my "husband" and I wound up eating it.
I guess that was an excuse?
Anyways I am going to trash it all now!
And start with a clean house tomorrow!

                You can do it!!

and make sure you have lots of 'legal' high-fat snacks prepared and available to eat if the munchies strike!
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!

Check out our Low Carb Recipes website and add to it!!

                  Re: My first day

Well once again I failed yesterday.

I think it was because I didnt have atkins snacks. Well this morning I bought some olives and radishes and extra crunch veggies and salad.
I was trying to do it with frozen veggies but it was not such a good idea.
I was lucky to talk my DH out of wanting ice cream.
Well I am off to make by breakfast.
                  2 eggs , bacon
lunch- salad and pork chop pieces
dinner- ground taco beef and salad.

Humm? Is taco seasoning all right? I will have to look into it; the package says no sugar.?

Are you also getting in a good suppliment? They help if you get a good one with stuff Atkins recommends for cravings in it.
