  • Finally in Ketosis!!!!!!!!!!

    Well after a week of induction, I am finally in ketosis. I am not sure what I did to get there, but it feels great to be there. I have a deadline fast approaching. I have a physical to get back into the Army National Guard on the 25th of August. I have to lose about 2 inches off my abdomen. Is this a reasonable goal to expect to attain by the 25th? It is only 13 days away. I do run every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. I realize that will help me. Is my goal unrealistic, or is it attainable? Is there anything I can do to help me boost my weight loss?

    more exercise would work, doing ab workouts would help too.

      Having a deadline by which you want/have to lose a certain amount of weight or inches is never good, especially if it is regarding your belly/waist. You're putting yourself under stress which can make any weight loss in that region difficult.
      Therefore it might be good if you approach this by not expecting any loss in inches.
      Do your cardio over the next 13 days. If you have access to a pool, go swimming every day. It will slim your hip area (and the rest of your body). And try callanetics! It has incredible toning effects.
      My decreasing dress size shall be the main measurement of my success.
