Re: spam!!!
According to www.calorie-count.com the Hormel brand of pork/ham spam ('spiced ham' I think was the derivation of the name btw) has 1.7 grams of carbs per 2 ounce serving.
The same company makes one with pork/chicken too which has 0.8 carbs per 2 ounces.
Not a thing to overeat, but small portions shouldnt send your carb count too high.
I noticed it has 767 mg of sodium per serving. Some people find salty processed meats cause them problems, so watch out for water retention issues.Last edited by Elizellen; May 31, 2007, 02:58 AM.Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!
