Re: I did horrible...back to restarting

hey! don't worry, I did the same thing after my 6th day of induction last week...only mine lasted ALL DAY and i ate everything from doughnuts to ice cream to chips...so you are not alone. Drink lots of water and try getting a good workout in and you will feel much better in about 2 days. For the first two days i kept waking up in the morning feeling bloated and thinking to myself, "WHY did i do that!!! i hate myself for that!" but don't worry, the feeling will pass. now i am on the end of my first week of re induction and i feel great! so "this too shall pass"! good luck! and today, don't let cravings get the best of you...they might jump up after your binge...

Re: I did horrible...back to restarting

Even if you slipped up and ate wrongly one day during your first 14, do make sure you weigh yourself aftert the 14th day from when you initially started induction so you have some numbers to look up your metabolic resistance to weightloss on the chart in DANDR.

It is important to do this so you can decide whether you need to stay on induction longer or make the move to OWL.

Even though the weightloss after your 'true' 14th day wont be as good as if you hadnt eaten offplan for a day, it is likely to be a truer figure than if you re-count your 14 days from when you got back onplan, as you wont have the 'water weight' woosh most people experience when starting induction.

So if today would have been your 9th day, tomorrow will be the 10th day, no matter how long you stay on induction after the 14th day.
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!

Re: I did horrible...back to restarting

I did the exact same thing on Friday this week. I did so well at the holiday cook outs and then I don't know what happened. Even this morning at a friends house I had horrible food. I feel like crap. My stomach is all gross-food or guilt or maybe both. I will be finishing off the day on track and then starting back 100% fresh tomorrow for 14 day clean induction. I have 14 days from today to lose 8 pounds for my work bet to lose 20. Also going to sign up for some June challenges for exercise. Haven't done too well starting that aspect. Did well in the beginning and then that dropped off.
