  • Sugar in Mayonaisse

I am using Hellman's Mayo. The ingredient break down doesn't list it as having any sugars, but when I look at the individual ingredients, I see that sugar is listed. Do I need to worry about that? I thought that mayo was ok to use.

From what I understand it doesn't have enough sugar to worry about. I use a lot of mayonaise (hellmens) and have never had a problem. In my opinion, if it says 0grams of sugar then I wouldn't worry about it.

Just watch the carbs if you have more than one 'serving' as in USA they can say zero carbs if it is less than 0.5 carbs. So maybe count one carb if you have two servings (which might be one tablespoon for each serving).

We are luckier in UK as our labels list the carbs for 100 grams (3.5 ounces weight) or 100 mls (nearly 7 tablespoons) so we can make a more accurate estimate.
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
