Re: Is there any dessert that is Induction friendly?
if you can find one thats sweetened with splenda then yes its fine, but i believe theyre literally impossible to find
if i needed a sweet fix i would mix a tablespoon of creamcheese with a tablespoon of heavy cream, a serving of splenda - tastes like cheesecake
if you look in the menu forums you will find lots more in thereHW 303Aug '04 SW-287 LW-232Restart - Apr 07 - SW 266 CW 225

Re: Is there any dessert that is Induction friendly?
There are lots of things you can make that are induction friendly as long as you eat the right serving size!!
There are some cheese cakes, cream brule... stuff like that. When I was on induction and wanted something sweet I'd just sprinkle a little bit of splenda on an oz of cream cheese and it got rid of the cravings. That tastes good with sugar free jello too!! (but you may want to wait on that).
Also, those fake pan cake things that Oh 2 be Fit posted are good!! and if you like the mock danish that is good too.
Oh and you can make whipped cream, I used to freeze it and have a little spoonfull every now and then. It comes out like icy ice cream ... kinda. lol♥Started Atkins on December 8th, 2005

Be careful with the cheesecake! I totally went overboard because it was sooo good. Just be careful to not eat too much of it.

A few weeks ago I made the induction friendly cheese cake on Linda's site with a nut crust... I almost ate the whole thing!
I won't be making that again anytime soon... dangerous!!

Re: Is there any dessert that is Induction friendly?
I love the "just say no!" lol
I think each slice has 4 carbs. It's a lot if you really think about it. And once you start eating it, it really does taste a lot like cheesecake. The only difference was the consistency--or maybe it was because I didn't make it correctly.
It was so hard to stop, so if you don't have a sweet tooth than MAYBE you'll be okay. To be honest, I don't think I'm going to make it again until I'm waaaay up the rungs.
It's that addictive!

Re: Is there any dessert that is Induction friendly?
whipped cream with sweetener was my induction dessert.
now I'm kinda sick of it and can't even look at it anymore....I probably overdid it a bit in the past
anyway, creativity is the key...I'm often just throwing things together that I like and most of the time its good.

I make my own jelly (jello), from gelatin strips (in Italy they call it colla di pesce which means fish glue
.... but haven't a clue if it's really from fish. They just look like transparent strips). You soak these in cold water, then disolve in boiling water, add Da Vinci syrup of your choice and chill. Takes five mins (less the chilling time). I eat this with cream.
