  • Day One is done!!

Well, I have just completed day one of induction and completed the fitday food log for the day. It came out good which is reassuring. I seemed to spend A LOT of time cooking, measuring and preparing food which I hope will decrease as I get the hang of it.

I am stunned that at no time today did I feel hungry AT ALL--it seems like I ate more than normal. It is hard to believe that this way of eating will cause weight loss. I did weigh and measure myself before breakfast this morning and will not weigh again until December 15th and hopefully it will be good news.

It was rainy all day today so my exercise plan (walking 2 miles) was scrapped but I did spend about 45 minutes vigorously dusting and vacuuming and worked up quite a sweat so I guess that counts.

    Fat: 127G (66%)
    Protein: 128G (30%)
    Net Carbs: 17G (4%)

    Calories: 1750

    Water: 93 ounces

    DaVinci Sugar Free Syrup--2 tablespoons

And, best of all NO ALCOHOL (of course, there is still the mouthwash in the bathroom if I get really desperate )

Thanks to all of you who post regularly on here for providing great info and inspiration and especially a huge thanks to those who have welcomed me on the introduction board. I think this site is awesome and I feel so lucky to have found it.

    Everyone have a lovely Sunday!!

Good job doing so well on your first day of induction. I have just completed day 6 of induction and so far I have lost 9lbs. Hang in there, the results are amazing. I don't feel hungry at all. Keep up the good work!

      Jlyn,

Wow, 9 pounds in 6 days is AWESOME

I am not going to weigh again until 12/15--this is the end of 2 weeks plus my 23rd anniversary so hopefully there will be 2 things to celebrate.

      Keep up the G R E A T work!!

Good try, but I don't need to walk THAT far

No rain today so my husband and I hung the outdoor lights and put up the tree. I must have been up and down that ladder a hundred times and my thighs felt like (carb controlled ) jelly.

The past 2 days I have felt really great and I am waiting for the other shoe to drop. Book says it takes about 2 days to burn your glycogen stores so hopefully I won't be crawling to work tomorrow.

Great job jlyn and Pam.. Fantastic really! Isn't Atkins great? It really is.

Pam, I see what you saying, it is little hard at first to get off all the food addiction we have but it really gets better, especially after the first week. You will enjoy it, I am sure.
